I haven't even started my 'madethislook' yet - still dithering. I'm not sure how long it takes. I only put my 'buttons' shirt up for review on Sunday night. Maybe they sit on 'pending' until the week that they are due to go up, and buttons has only just started. Can't wait to see what you've got made though :-D

I have two - and I love them! Gertie was my Grandmother's and Imelda I bought for $50 and is slightly falling apart, but they are so darn handy although I do suggest that when you go to buy one, get a good one. I've got to pull Imelda apart and try and repair her.

(... You'll find that most people name their mannequins but I will say you become very fond of them LOL)

Just heard back from Mena. All is well, I'm om track. I crochet my button assignment, she didn't think it feel in the sewing category. So I posted just to share. My made the look dress took me 15 hours but I think it was worth it. Good luck with the next assignment.

Hey Krista--I kinda puffy <3 adore the Police :)

I haven't bought any Colette patterns yet because they are a bit outside my budget right now (and by "budget" I really mean "I'm not buying anything because I don't have a job; no job, no money"). However, the patterns are lovely and beautiful and covet them!

I'm trying to use the options that come with patterns to get more use out of the them.. I went to the library and found quite a few books that have free patterns. There is also a lot of free patterns on line. I wish you the best in finding work. Hopefully sewing will keep your spirits up.

On the dress forms, what do you think about the adjustibles? I didn't realize there was such a range in price so I will definately do my homework.
