Thanks, I met a textiles expert at the event I wore it to and she told me she thought it was from the 80's or the 60's - it was something about the red - the way it printed - wow to have such an expert eye!  She was wearing some kind of amazing wool blanket jacket that had felt mexican figures appliqued all  over it - apparently a big trend in the 50's - another tangent for me to research on!
