Fabric is Robert Kaufman Cherries Black. Available at fabric.com for $9 per yard. This dress required 4 yards, but I probably could have gotten away with 3.5 yards as there was quite a bit left over *and* I ended up cutting 6 inches off the hem.

This turned out beautifully! And a perfect fit. I really enjoyed seeing your thought process and now the finished dress! I hope you are loving it. I think just wearing this dress would make me happy. Is the leftover fabric going to a quilt?
