The Sew Weekly Sewing Circle

The dress is made from a 1931 pattern (Excella E3169) out of white wool with black silk satin trim recycled from a vintage obi.

I didn't have quite enough wool, so I had to piece the sleeves and the shoulders of the dress.

It's perfect for unseasonal weather any time of year - cold days in summer, warm days in winter, still days in spring (Wellington wind + that skirt = major wardrobe malfunction), and ALL 3 days of autumn between the end of summer and the advent of winter horribleness.
