Made from a thrifted twin flat sheet.

I used the bodice of McCall's 5845 as the basis for this dress, but modified the neckline and drafted the back cutout to get the look I wanted. This is the first time I've successfully made a dress whose details match the fabric!

The diamond shape is the Superman logo isn't it?  Fabulous dress.

The diamond cutout is very clever - and the fabric is so vibrant

Wooooooooooow!  Amazing!  And to think that I just passed by an original Star Trek twin flat sheet at the thrift store the other day because I couldn't think of any practical use for it.

I love the back too. I bet it gets people talking when you wear it?
