I found this piece of vintage home decor fabric at an estate sale awhile back for $2. What I loved about it was that it still had a tag on it indicating that it was a home decor remnant from the Hudson's Bay Company (they still sold fabric when I was a kid, I remember going there for notions with my mom). Original price? $1.75. Toss it in with some thrifted denim (a lucky score last week) and a pattern from Stitch, Autumn 2010 and a skirt emerges. Nice and bright for the darkening fall. Total cost? $4 with the zipper.
