My "Cotton Picking" Dress

Favourite Pattern 2012 challenge, this is my favourite pattern of almost two decades,McCalls 8235 circa 1996, I have made it a few times in different fabrics. I like it because it is semi-fitted ( great for our hot days) and it has no zipper. I raised the back 2cm. The fabric is a lovely cotton from my stash about $12.00 worth. I knew I was going to be running short with cotton (thread) to sew this dress, when completed I had 1 metre left on the machine and 8cm in the bobbin! Happy Holidays everyone, all I want for Christmas is a stylist to tell me when dress, necklace etc is crooked.
