I am a Calaca for Halloween. I drafted my own trumpet style skirt pattern and black lace apron. The top is a corset I already owned, over a t-shirt I covered in silk roses. I took extra roses and a fascinator to adorn my head with. I opted out of the sugar skull face makeup so I wouldn't upset my little girl. But you get the idea. I have been wanting to be a Calaca for a long time, I finally got my chance.

Thank you so so much. I am really proud of this costume. I don't know how I'm going to top it for next year.
