Embellishing purses

I can't seem to break out and add embellishments to make cute little wristlets. I want to, I have beads, buttons, laces and many threads to use. I just don't get it. Need help!!! Any takers??

Try fabric flowers! There's tons of great tutorials online, you can use the beads and buttons for the centers and incorporate the lace into the flower petals. Here's a couple examples of bridal clutches I've made with flowers:

Just some random but simple thoughts: using beads or embroidery to enhance one area of a print. or a contrast lace over a portion of satin.
