The 120 year old cottage is cute, but currently in major disarray, as I'm putting it through it's first round of renovations.  Eek!!  (It's going to be even-more-cute afterwards, though.  Or that's the idea, anyway!)

Where in Aussie are you living?

Hope the reno's go well!

I'm in Victoria, about 2 hours north of Melbourne.

Same. We should setup a real-life group here and have meetups and swaps.

I really love your hair colour - awesome!

Thanks!  I like to think it adds a bit of colour to my corporate office.  ;-)
I'm Erin Bartels and I've been sewing since 2003, but I've only really started sewing a lot of clothing in the last year. I blog at http://theconsummateamateur.blogspot.com about sewing, decorating, gardening, photography, family, and more. I've blogged since 2008, though at a different address (http://stuffnoonewouldpublish.blogspot.com) which has many of my sewing projects archived on it. I followed The Sew Weekly all last year and am happy to see it grow into something where we can all participate! Thanks Mena!

Hi, my name is Rosy and I'm Spanish, so you do not scare you, if I do some terrible things with the language, I am learning ...

I sew since I was little, I learned through mistakes and pull fabric after cutting away evil and declared unserviceable garments I was trying to sew. When I was an adult, I took sewing classes and started my own sewing business customers, so many years, so I've sewn for all body types and sizes.

I live in a sunny island in the Canary Islands (Spain), close to Africa with my husband and two children who are above me in height, now do not sew for the public and the small shop I have at home is totally for me satisfaction.

I'm love with the fashion of the 50s and 60s, sometimes also with the 40s (a little) and "The Weekly sew"is perfect to end the laziness because it is a constant source of inspiration.

Hi Amanda! Looking forward to seeing your vintage inspired designs!

Hey everybody!

I'm Sarah, I'm from Texas (yee haw!) and I'm one of the SW contributors, which is awesome. I love to sew - it's better than therapy - and share my home with my husband, Ryan, and little fat dog, Tex. Looking forward to reading all your blogs and seeing what cool things you make this year along with us!

Hi, I'm Sarah and I've been sewing since I was a child.  I live just outside of Toronto, Ontario in a little house on a tree-lined street with my beloved family: my husband, Mr. Friday; our daughter, Miss Friday; and our loud cat Fuzz-B.  I am a stay-at-home mom and personal assistant to Brian Fortuna.

I love vintage fashion and my focus is 1954-1958 and 1960-1962.  I have several projects on the go this year:  the Sewing Through the Decades Challenge I am co-hosting with Debi (Sew Weekly contributor and all around awesome person), Building a Lifetime Wardrobe Project, and the Hepburn Hepburn Project.

I'm really glad that Mena started this forum as I'm an avid follower of The Sew Weekly and I find it such a great source of inspiration.

Wow, you've got a lot of projects on the go!  Impressive!

Hi everyone! I'm so excited for this 'Sewing Circle' ning site! Great idea Mena!!   My name is Debi and I am currently living with my wonderful partner in Edinburgh, Scotland.  I just started sewing (November 2009 is when I started my sewing blog and finished my first garment) and I am HOOKED :-)  I love it!

I'm in love with vintage patterns.  I am a Sew Weekly contributor and also co-host the Sewing Through the Decades Challenge with the lovely Sarah and am also participating in the Hepburn & Hepburn project that Sarah is also hosting!  I'm still learning (I hope I never stop) and am seriously challenging myself (weekly outfits??  eeep!)  but I am having so much fun and I can't wait to meet all of you!!
