The Sew Weekly Sewing Circle

Made by me but not for me !!! What did you make for someone else?

When you start sewing, there is always a question when you show a project to someone _ "Can you make me one?" Or maybe a gift with more personality was the motivation.

What have you sew/made for someone else? Please share pictures too.

Please don't tell me that weaving is difficult! I'm hoping to learn from my Boyfriend's Aunt this year. (and I'm not mathematically inclined).

How beautiful the fabric is and the toys are just delightful.

Jen,

I'm sure you will do fine with weaving. I think I'm just hard headed! It's really an amazing process!

Cath, this is amazing !

Cathe, just beautiful..you ar sooooo talented.
These are all fabulous and the weaving is stunning!
Thanks Ladies! These were fun projects for sure!
cathe! are you kidding me?! the weaving is a KNOCKOUT! and oh. is that a polar bear i see? i want him to come live with me!!!
Wow Cathe, I am so impressed!  You are a talented lady!  I have always wanted to try weaving, but have been a little scared...
The cats are so cute, I love to make stuffed animals but my son hardly plays with them...

The woven fabric is fabulous! Another craft I'd like to try. Maybe I lack patiance for this kind of work.

And your toys are just...perfect!

Love the little white one and the colours in the weaving! Had a go at weaving many, many years ago on my college course. I've still got the samples - I just remember it being very time consuming but with magical results.
Weaving is magical by the way ... not my weaving results!
