Charlotte, can't wait to see your beautiful dress for the UK meet up. I'm so glad you are sewing "the dress"-horrockses! It will be worth it, it's gorgeous! Hang in there, you are almost done :)

Well done for being cheif organiser, you did a brilliant job! What a wonderfull day, it was so enjoyed by everyone. Your dress was sooooo great. and a real pleasure to finally meet you!
Hello Charlotte, Thank you very much! I'm just beginning to find my way around 'Sew Weekly' and so far I like it very much. Where is it based and how long has it been active? I wish I could have joined you on you recent meet-up with other members. It seems you had a wonderful time.
Hahahaha! ) Merci!!!
Hiya sorry I just dissapeared last month, esp when you'de gone to the trouble of welcoming me (which was very appreaciated) A friend of mine was supposed to be making alot of the outfits for a friends wedding (brides dress, 4 bridesmaids, 2 waistcoats & 10 ties) unfortuenately dur to ill health she left making them a little late so I gave up a few weeks of my life to help make them up - it was a lot of work and we finished the day before the meet up however all I wanted to do then was sleep!! so no London for me. It looked like everyone had a great time - and I loved your dress.
I have faith in you... It will be beautiful.. The pattern looks great.. I cant believe you found a pattern ...that looks JUST like the dress in the store.. And the fabric will look so good on you.. Love the colors..
But.. I still cant wait to see your vintage dress pattern made up.. so pretty..But hey...dont feel rushed.. Since ,I have talked to you... I have bought about 10.. and my friend Cathe sent me 2 beautiful ones.. and I want to do them all.haha. I have so many things I want to do.. but not enough time..lol
Ooooh these darn computers drive me nuts. It may be my blog..I know someone else was having trouble signing it too.. I had to work on it.. You just never know..
Emily was tickled to death over her dress... she has really gotten into the vintage dresses..
Hows your sewing coming along.. Happy Sewing, Judy
Hi Charlotte - I always think it's better to send patterns on to new homes where they will be loved than to let them languish in a box until I'm old! (think about all the gorgeous patterns that are just crumbling in someone's attic somewhere.....) I don't want to sell my used patterns on ebay or Etsy because I'm too lazy and don't think it's worth the effort vs. money. Send me your address @vicki_muise@yahoo.ca and I'll send it to you next week after my crazy granting deadline at work has passed. (If you want to return the love, I'm B34 W29 H39 ;)
I haven't forgotten about you Charlotte! I went to mail the pattern last week and couldn't find the pieces for the skirt....and if you saw my sewing room (actually, the corner of the TV room / kids play room/ living room), you'd understand why it went AWOL! I finally found them yesterday, pinned to fabric I had cut. I'll get my man to drop it in the mail when he goes to the PO later today. :)
Hi Charlotte, Thanks for asking about my back. Still very painful and I am going to hospital again sometime soon. Sewing its been a lifeline for me and you and the others supports really helps me forget about the pain. xx
Thanks for the compliment for inviting me to join your frindship circle. Hopefully getting sucked into the Sew Weekly community will encourage me to get on and sew more stuff for myself, if only I could decide what!
