I have to say that this 'un-finished object' had gotten as far as purchasing the fabric along with the idea of making shorts!!!! so I hadn't even cut into the fabric it was just some whack idea I thought I could pull off, first off my fabric choice was all kinds of wrong, secondly what was I thinking... shorts!!! eeeek. Maybe I had some flash idea that I could pull off this polyester/cotton nightmare, and maybe if I had chosen a more flattering fabric this idea may of worked, I guess it's all trial and error. They look much better hanging on my clothes line than on my body.
I wasn't going to contribute this week because I hated the way they turned out but I had gone to the trouble of sewing them so why the heck not and I think it's good to show imperfections so others can learn from your mistakes.
I love to have music blaring in the back ground to keep me company, Sleater-Kinney was on high rotation.
The look on my face says it all, not good folks not good, maybe if I was cast as an oomph loompa in a staged version of Willy Wonka I'd consider wearing them. Ah you've got to laugh!!
and there she hangs like a green polyester nightmare ha ha.
ooh!!!! sew what's next weeks challenge?? I need to get over this one.
