I almost didn't think I was going to make it to this weeks challenge , we've been driving to and from country Victoria picking up our kiddies from their Nanny and Pops house so I've been pushed for time with only really having two days to to get washing and all the mundane boring stuff done like grocery shopping and housework etc so I'm pleased I managed to get this challenge completed.

There I am in my original hair colour decked out in a string of daisies and a pinny my mum made for me. I decided to re-create something similar but a little more grown up but still keeping the fun aspect to it.

I can't sew without music so Louis XIV kept me company while I danced around my sewing machine with a yummy glass of red handy. I sew standing up don't ask me why I just always have.

I was going to add pockets to the front but I got very lazy so decided to leave it. All the detail is in the back of the dress.

The great thing about this little dress is that I can wear different shirts underneath to jazz things up a tad. It's very versatile.

I was quite pleased with the outcome I'll definitely wear it again and again.
