Ok so this may be a total dum dum question... but how exactly do you go about omiting a zipper? I hate zippers!Continue

Sew it up! I always machine-baste my seam closed before laying in (and hand-basting) my zipper flat against my seam allow.
So, do that, and then just don't put in the zipper. See? Easy! I wriggled my way into my green st. patty's day dress last week, but when I looked in the mirror, I found out that the reason I'd been able to slink (and I do mean slink, as in, heave my boobs in one girl at a time, breathing deeply and then releasing all the oxygen I could before I wriggled) was because there was a 1" gap between my back and the fabric. So, I wriggled my way back out, sewed the seam up tighter and now have to put in the zipper. There's just no way. I think the more full-figure one is, the less likely to pass the Mena-test.
