The Sew Weekly Sewing Circle

A grown-up knock off of Oliver + S Ice Cream Social Dress... I know better than to make a trapeze style dress, but I couldn't help myself. Yoke- black tencel remnant, printed cotton voile (Christmas gift from a sewing friend), and poly organza with velvet spots for the border print. If I don't belt it, it's a mu-mu- kind of like vintage housedresses.

A trapeze dress does nothing for me either, but belted and it shows real possibility. The fabric choices work so well.
