The Sew Weekly Sewing Circle

This western look is a combination of refashion and creation. I had a long denim skirt that was miles too big and just looked awful on me. It had been in the refashion pile for 5 years! I don't really wear western, or prairie but I thought this might work. The prairie skirt is a challis fabric I bought on Fabric.com in the $1.95 section.

That's a clever refashion. (and a great way to avoid doing a waistband from scratch :-) Lovely and cool out in the garden too.
