let me just start by saying 'I heart my new PJ's!!!!!!!!!!' I thought it was rather fitting to make Pj's for this challenge.. as while you lovely ladies in the UK were heading out to meet, dressed in all your finery.. I, in Australia, was heading to bed! And what better excuse did I need to do something with that red, white & blue vintage flanelette in my stash! The pants are semi self drafted. I started with a too small elastic waist pant pattern and graded it till it was super baggy.. comparing measurements as I went with a store bought pair. In truth perhaps they are now a little too baggy, but all the more comfy for sipping hot choc on the couch! The top was made using the pattern from my 'ugly pattern challenge'. For real! Who knew that pattern would end up such a valuable part of my collection! I shortened it, added the sleeves.. lengthened the sleeves, and added cuffs. This is the first fleece item I've made since grade 8 home ec.. and I gotta say, sewing with fleece is sooooo easy & fun! I made the top during my daughters afternoon nap!

Hey Casey - I hope your cat turns up. (I've been there)
I very much like your PJs. The colour is perfect for the weekly theme and comfy is definitely the word that comes to mind. I am ever amazed at your inventiveness with your patterns. I bought pj patterns rather than seeing how I could adapt what I have.
THAT'S WHAT I DID! only yours are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
waayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
WAY. cuter.
