The Sew Weekly Sewing Circle

McCalls 2094, fabric and buttons from the shrinking stash. This shirt is comfortable, the fabric has no stretch so I needed the extra ease, I will make it again using a stretch cotton to get a trimmer fit. I had a sewing emergency ! Whilst trimming the collar, before turning, I cut one of the points off! I was able to save it with some (hand stitched) micro- surgery.Lesson learnt..Always pay attention when using scissors. Happy Sewing

Hey Michelle, I know exactly what you mean about sewing emergencies!  I have had my share of them, too, and if they are repairable, don't they make for an interesting project story sometimes!  Great shirt- it looks so comfortable.  I love the hats you wear too!

Thanks Kelly, I love hats and have quite a collection, I did a hobby millinery course some time ago, I feel quite self conscious "modelling" my clothes but I think its a great opportunity to play dress-ups!
