The Sew Weekly Sewing Circle

I grew up loving the movie Finian's Rainbow with Petula Clark, so I definitely had to make a dress based on her duet scene with Woody Mahoney. I used black satin with black and gold lace overlay on the bodice and sleeves. The pattern is Simplicity 2444 and I wore it for a Black Tie wedding on Saturday. The pattern was a dream to sew, and I cannot recommend it enough!

sweet! Just ideal for the event and the flats look great. Love the clip too. I have been trying to see this movie for years but have never managed to find it.
