The Sew Weekly Sewing Circle

Fabric: From my Grandmother's stash. 4m
Pattern: Retro Butterick B5209
Year: 1947 (retro)
Notions: zip and hook & eye (all possibly unnecessary)
Time to complete: 14 episodes of The Goodies plus 2 x news and 1 Time Team (approx: 9 hours) mostly unpicking)
First worn: only for the photo
Wear again: yes, very comfortable

Having been a little lacking in motivation of late, I am pleased to have finished this dress. The fabric was very slippery and I failed to read the instructions properly more times than I care to specify and so my unpicker was my best friend.
No make-up, no hat or fascinator (I lack accessories) and my photo is on an angle, but it's done!

Well done for getting your Sewjo back!  Great dress and no doubt you had fun with The Goodies too (one of my favourite shows as a child!)

Jen you make me laugh so much, although I am not surprised you lost your sewjo if you are sewing along to Time Team, it always makes me lose the will to live. (are you watching the British version or is there a local one?)

Pretty result though, great pattern

Cheers All - I was so motivated I also managed a Lisette shirt yesterday too. The cotton was a lot nicer to sew with but not as comfy to wear. I guess I like a little stretch in clothes.
