Here's me, just before setting off for the UK Swap Meet. It's very early in the morning, hence the long shadow and squinty eyes. My mum actually took this photo, so that's appropriate. She's always been very artistic and paints in a colourful, lively, exuberent way and this fabric reminds me of her. The style, which is a Colette Crepe, is also very reminiscent of the 50's which was her era. So, I married the two together. It also fits in with the red, white and blue Swap Meet theme and I made it in readiness for that. I won't be ducking out of this coming week though. I'm really impressed with the Crepe pattern and will be making it up again in another red, white and blue floral fabric - which I originally bought for 'Colette' week but my pattern hadn't arrived in time.
