This skirt fabric came from a pair of dining room curtains I made many years ago when I had neutral colored walls. I have had blue in there about 8 years so these have been in storage a while. But the fabric was so pretty. It's silk dupioni and the colors are so vibrant. This was Cynthia Rowley for Simplicity #2512. Very easy pattern. I liked that the bias strip around the waist and hem ended up with diagonal plaid-it added interest. I like it better without the self-belt though. Nice big pockets and back zip. I liked it with the gold sweater; my husband preferred the pumpkin. What do you think?

Oh this is so perfect for fall. I like both shirts with your skirt, nice to have options!
