Admittedly, this is a pretty lame attempt at this week's challenge. Anyhow, I had some lovely periwinkle jersey pillowcases in my stash. I was going to make a tank top out of them, but unfortunately, the grainline ran along the short edge of the pillowcase. fail. So, I made a simple pair of panties using some stretch lace and FOE from my stash.

cute though - did you make the pattern yourself? or is that a silly question?

Those are very cute!  Love the contrast lace and trim.

I made the pattern from a pair of old panties (cut them apart and traced them onto paper).  Meg has a good pattern and instructions at: http://megmadethis.blogspot.com/search/label/bikini-brief%20undies.  I find that panties are a great way to use up knit remnants.  If the fabric has lycra, I'll often just add seam allowance the leg holes and hem them with a short zig-zag.

hardly lame - a very wearable garment from a pillowcase. Well done.

Very cool. I've been meaning to make underwear from a pile of knit fabric from t-shirts and scraps.
