The Sew Weekly Sewing Circle

This week seemed like a good excuse to cross off something from my things-to-make list and use up some scraps of knit fabric as well. The result: three new pairs of knickers! :-)

More details are over on my blog.

they look great! I just made some toddler ones from old tshirts - yours look way better than mine!

Yes Casey they are particularly good for toddlers with thighs so skinny that regular knickers let everything hangout. Not a good look when playing on the floor.

I think these are fab! Ever thought of designing swimwear?!

Thanks ladies!  :-)

Funny you should mention that Diane - I bought some swimsuit fabric last weekend, and I have plans to make a 1950's inspired swimsuit for summer.  (That'll be a bit of an adventure - I've never made a swimsuit before....!)

That is so cool Kat, yeah! have you thought of designing swimwear? Get to it girl. Is that a clematis vine behind your knickers?.. gorgeous

It is indeed a clemantis vine.  I do love this time of year, when all the pretty flowers begin to bloom.....  Any day now the honeysuckle and jasmine should start showing their pretty faces.  Bliss!
