Heart Apron-A Refashioned UFO

Here is my finished heart apron, originally started in 2008 and made from refashioning a thrift store mini skirt. I'm proud I didn't use a pattern or template for my project. The lavender ties and inside pocket fabric are leftover scraps from a vintage dress I made last year. The long ties are attached only at my shoulders, so I can cross the ties behind me and pull them through loops on the waistband sides.
