Ghostbuster - Simplicity 5151 (c. 1973)
Made from a king-size flat sheet (in just the right colour) from the local charity shop!
Embroidered the ghostbuster patch and made the proton pack from bits of rubbish (old wires, empty thread spools, etc.)
Total cost: £2.65 (pattern) + £3 (sheet) + £0.70 (thread) + £1 (glue sticks) + £2 (black spray paint) + £0.20 (embroidery thread) + £0.50 (LED light on proton pack) = £10.05
