The Sew Weekly Sewing Circle

The dress-robe-thing was made from two white Ikea curtain offcuts (also from the charity sho), and the wrap-thing from a Primark sheet.
Embroidered the sacred heart (SO. MUCH. FUN!) on many a train ride to & from work, much to the amusement of fellow commuters.
Total cost: WAY TOO MUCH. The fabric came to a total of £12, the trim & fringe to about £0.60, and I had to buy a new purple skein of embroidery cotton ... but hubbie darling bought a wig, and contacts, and shoes, and make-up ... all of which were about £35.

I'll bet this got a few comments - intriguing idea. (Very good to get Hubbie to pay his share).
