Made using a BurdaStyle dress pattern for the bodice, and a McCall's dress pattern from 1955 for the skirt.

I love this Kat! In fact it's like you read my mind. I've been thinking about putting a similar shaped skirt to yours (complete with pockets too.) with that bodice for ages! Your dress looks exactly as I had imagined mine. Now I'll have to get to it. Love the apple print fabric, red shoes and belt.
I too have banned myself from buying more fabric.. but today a kind family member has off loaded an entire garbage bag on me. oh.. what to do with it all! (and where the heck will I store it in the meantime)
oh Kat so pretty. the apples the pattern, you look so lovely!!
Beautiful !
Yay! Love it! I feel the need for a bite of this beautiful project!
Love, love the dress. The apple fabric is just adorable. and it looks fantastic on you.. Happy sewing
gorgeous dress - the fit looks ideal. And you are not the only one who didn't know that trick with the invisible zippers. Thanks for detailing it.
Dresses with pockets! sure does equal awesomeness. Great dress Kat you really suit this style and the apple print is adorable.
I love this - I think it's your best yet!
Love the retro apple print and the silhouette of the dress. Again, thanks for the detailed write-up.
