Early 20'sSatin Tunic...beading close-up

The tunic is based on Simplicity 1693, with 10 inches added to the bottom and side vents so it has the 20's ideal of a loose and flowing silhouette. My tunic is made from only 1 yard of fabric! I added my own bias facing to the neckline and armholes edges for a clean look, and lined the whole thing, too. I did extensive beading on both shoulders of my tunic, using some Art Deco designs and two different types of pearl seed beads.
