This really is perfect, oh how I loved Purple Rain. I saw Prince as the opening act to the Rolling Stones once…that's how old I am! And it was awesome! Almost as awesome as your outfit but you win hands down!

Thank you all - I did green piping which I really like (in fact, I bought the same fabric in green and am going to make a ginger the other way around too, with green fabric and purple piping, if I get time).

Katelyn, I like the lace too, I didn't think I was a lace kind of girl but another sewweekly member sent me some when we did a notions swap and so I tried to fit it in to my sewing, it has turned out rather well I think. It is nice to get new ideas from other sewweekliers!

Cathe, you are officially Mrs Cool. Rolling Stones AND Prince, wow. Plus you will notice i have stolen your contrst bias binding idea for my Sorbetto.

PS sadly no red Corvette, will my ancient silver Ford Fiesta do?

Great job Purple one, I was so hoping some one would do The Purple One. I really laughed at you on your purple bike ha ha, Lots of fun. Now go party like it's 1999.
