The Sew Weekly Sewing Circle

This is my "Mad Men" style sundress, made from a soft border print rayon. It is a combo dress, with Vintage Vogue 8789, year 1957, view B, for the bodice and Simplicity 2177, view A, for the dress' skirt. It is fully lined in a lavender cotton for a clean finish and no need for facings. I sewed in a long 20 inch zipper along the side starting from the armpit seam to make this easy to get into.
