That type of fabric is called "shot" when the yarns of one colour form the warp and the other colour forms the weft, to give it that shifting colour effect. It can be made of many fibres, silk, acetate or rayon, it's a cute top, I like the keyhole effect.
Oh dear Trish my spell check on my ipad did a very nasty thing to your name my deepest apologizes! It appears that I can't erase it…when did this site change??It use to have a function for deleting…urgh!
Cathe, the fabric was nice to work with, and behaved more like an organza.

Cathe, I read that and didn't even notice!! LOL - you know what they say "as long as the first and last letters of a word are correct, you can get away with it - proven. Never mind, I do it myself all the time when typing! x
