After drastic chopping, an ugly 80's dress fits. Simple pick stitch hand sewing outlined the Yoke/sleeve.

This is an awesome upcycle. I love the stitching on the yoke and the buttons, too. If you do go for a crinoline, that pink color is a great contrast!
