The Sew Weekly Sewing Circle

I just finished a jacket my mother-in-law started in a tailoring class over 20 years ago. The whole thing was hand basted and mostly hand sewn. It was wonderful imagining the lessons she must have had in her class. But, the sleeves had not been attached and the bound buttonholes were only half finished. The theme this week pushed me to finish it.

How lovely, finishing something that has been waiting around for 20 years.  I love the fabric, very nice result.
