This fabric made me think Alice in Wonderland! It's not as quirky as the dresses from the 2010 film, but I think the pattern is a little unusual with its asymmetrical pleats. (I wanted to take this photo outside, Mad Hatter's teaparty-style, but hey, it's February.)

Love it! Beautiful material too - perfect for a mad hatter tea party. (And fabulous shoes too)

Thanks guys :)

I saw the fabric on eBay, and watched it like a hawk until the auction finished!  (The shoes are also an eBay find - I'm addicted, I shouldn't be allowed on there).

Amanda, that is indeed an Eiffel Tower lamp... we weren't sure if it was cool or kitsch, glad you agree it's cool!

It's one of the new Vogue patterns, V1223.  I'd recommend it - the pleats look really impressive but they're so easy to do!  Actually the whole thing would've been very straightforward, but I lengthened the top half so it got a bit fiddly.
