Thanks guys!  It was a lot of fun and a lot of trial and error.  I made a few versions of the dress in muslin. For the final we could make for our project a garment  to fit the dress form or fit our bodies. I decided it was easier to take the measurements from the dress form that I have been working for a few months and since it was the schools dress form (I don't own one) the dress is too small to fit me.   That's the only bummer!
