This is my modern/retro A-Line dress, made with a rayon 'linen-look' fabric in a soft pastel yellow color. Even though the pattern I used is Simplicity 1878, designed by Lisette, year 2012, it definitely has a distinct 60's style, too. Simplicity 1878 is a great pattern...very easy to make and, with a few fitting adjustments, comfy to wear. I especially love the front details (the top stitching of the seams and the notched neckline).
