The Sew Weekly Sewing Circle

I made this dress last March from some gifted fabric and a vintage pattern I bought in Idaho. It was my first "sewing success" as an adult, and also the first project I blogged about (on my blog www.daughterfish.com).

The funny thing is that I used the striped fabric as a muslin, thinking it would be entirely too crazy for a real, wearable garment...turns out it was totally the right choice! I love this dress!:)

This dress is totally wearable! I adore the low back and the colors.
