The Sew Weekly Sewing Circle

This fancy top is a re-make of McCall's 6623, year 1979, combined with New Look 6470, year 2005. This is half inspired from similar shirts in stores and the other half inspiration is from Art Deco sequin dresses. It is refashioned from an over sized cheap T-shirt in my stash. I sewed in a sequined netting fabric and took the time to reinforce and cover all my seams. I took advantage of the extra netting along the selvedge to cover up the back opening. Read more here
