The Sew Weekly Sewing Circle

This is my historically correct pre-30's dress, with the middle tunic part being a lightweight cotton flannel, while the skirt part and sleeves are chiffon. I used stray pieces from 3 different patterns and plenty of free-hand work to make this look. I added lace to the shoulder pieces for some detail and a touch of femininity. The inner facings are also flannel (so soft on the skin), stitched down to the inner lining by hand.
