mm, I probably have more than I can think of right now, but most of the time I don't do muslins, I don't always finish the edges leaving them rawwwwwwwww, I don't always hem but put some handmade bias tape to contrast instead, I cut 2 (or more) of the same pattern at a time to mass produce, I've sometimes cut the pattern and the fabric in one go...

I try to skip anything that involves hand stitching, so I've recently learned to sew the lining to the zipper by machine instead of by hand - I don't know if it counts as a shortcut, but there's no turning back here!

Also, I'm ashamed to confess that may be some raw edges in garments I know I'm not going to wear a lot.

I skip pinning all the time, and i rarely hand baste anything.

I save the most time by using a rotary cutter and weights. It looks like that trick is a common short cut among this sewing circle!
