UK girlies, in a week tomorrow we will meet at last! I am so excited that I will get to meet you all...
My plans to make a dress are finally underway after stalling for several weeks, thank goodness, and I just spent half an hour going through my patterns and picking out some to swap...

pmsl I have to, just the bodice, or you will see my bra through the material. I am now up to 16 hours on the bloody Horrockses dress, 8 hours redreafting the pattern and 8 sewing, but yes, I have made the Horrockses! So amazed I have done it!

Wow you clever girl!!!! I'm so jealous when I went to the V&A on Monday I pointed out the ones in the shop to my Mum with a loud retort of "98 POUNDS !?! AND YOU CAN GET THE PATTERN FOR FREE?! WHY WOULD ANYONE BUY THIS!?!

I wish I could be,
I have SOOOO much to do today! I'm having my cocktail birthday party and am currently baking a pie, I need to hem my skirt finish my cardigan sew down my facing and armholes on the top and cook dinner in time for me and Pie maker to eat it before people turn up at 8.30! If you spot me tomorrow, I'll be the crazy lady who looks like she had a meltdown with yesterdays beehive and makeup (Its Mad Men Themed)

I took a half day off today....but I'm glad I did....didn't post this week's challenge until this morning at 2:00am...just now cutting out my dress fabric for tomorrow! woot, woot! I bet we are all going to sleep well on Sunday ;) Especially you, Stevie!! Have fun at your party tonight!! I can't wait to hear all about it tomorrow (bring pics!!)

Ugh. Well, I have the zip and hem to sew on my dress. Problem is that I don't think it's going to fit. So I'll probably have to wear my backup dress which while red, white and blue is not a dress that I particularly like.
Ah well!
