UK meet (and swap?) - anyone interested?

Some of us have started saying we'd like a UK meet up.... sooooo, who is interested? And where do you live? And are you willing to travel???????

 

I have just looked at the rail map of the uk, we could meet centrally somewhere, sometime this summer? We seem to have people from Edinburgh to Devon....

 

I'll start, I live in Lincolnshire, I can travel within reason (!), but I need some time to organise babysitting ;0) I would LOVE to meet some of the people I have met online and chat about sewing...

 

Who's in?

I have no Idea what I'm gonna make! I have some childlike red yellow and white floral pattern... Prehaps Lisette 2245 Tunic with Blue accents? I'm trying to go for something different to what I usually would go for which would be the lovely full skirted stuff which isn't so wearable for me.

 Isnt this cute... Cathe did this pattern recently.. She did it in tunic length and it was adorable..check back on the photos a few pages back.. I think it will show a dress she did and a couple pages back ,it will show this dress/tunic.. she did it ,I think  in  a check fabric..really cute..

I have bought my rail ticket today! So now I am definitely coming.... I will be at King's Cross at 10:45 and I am hoping to meet Diane (margueritedesigns) there about 11 when her train gets in for us to go to the V and A together for 11:30. Would anyone else like to join us at King's Cross?

 

I have booked a journey back from King's Cross at 6:00.

 

How exciting! It all seems very real now... just a dress to sew.... erm....eek!

thanks Diane, don't worry, whenever you get time, I have actually got out of bed early to check TSW this am, how sad am I? But it'a a big day at work today .... I may not be on tonight, I am going to WI in my village (a man who makes marzipan animals is coming to talk to us!).

ha aha ha that is so funny! I want to see pictures of your perfect marzipen animals!!! I only laugh because jam and Jerusalam is set in Devon and very real
