Miami?
Hello friends!
My beau got a tenure track job at Florida International University and as such, we'll be packing up and moving from Philadelphia to Miami in December!
Anyone from Miami and have info about good places to live and, of course, the sewing community? (I so totally have my priorities straight!).

Hi Tina,
You're moving to my hometown. I was born/raised there and went to Univ. of Miami. I can recommend neighborhoods, but the sewing community is a bit more spread out than in other towns I've lived in. Miami is a huge spread out suburb with some actual urban areas downtown, in South Miami, Coral Gables, and South Beach.
If you know which FIU campus your beau will be working at, and you have lifestyle preferences (do you like traffic?), message me, and I can better recommend neighborhoods.
