good skirt pattern?

Hi folks im just new here and glad to find an online sewing community ,

I was windering if anyone could recommend a skirt pattern for me, i like them relatively short and i like pockets in them and not too flary but not tight either lol,

I have a gorgeous liberty print fabric and scared to make a skirt without a pattern with it in case i wreck it!

Check BurdaStyle for a pattern you like..... If not just do a standard waistband with gathered skirt made out of a rectangle (interfacing for the waistband helps tons!) Either way you'll be able to find a simple pattern to accent the print.
